my camera says MEMORY CARD LOCKED

hello Phill22, i have the same problem but, i put several different cards on my camera, and it still says the same with each one (memory card locked)

i just found out that it was the contacts on the inside of the camera.....i took some GermX hand cleaner, put it on the contacts and inserted and ejected the card several times to clean those contacts (ants were actually in the camera)...that worked!

The answer to my problem when my camera said CARD LOCK, was not the card (i did format it), it was the contacts for the card inside the camera....i took GermX hand sanitizer and put on the contacts of the card and repeatedly inserted it several times (ants had got in the camera)....that took care of the problem!
