My car stero clock goes to 12 o'clock and switches to am after it sits for a while

My stero switches from FM to AM and my clock goes to 12 O'Clock after my car sits for a while.What's wrong with it?

Sounds like a possible loose connection. Like when you disconnect the car battery and everything goes back to default settings.
