My dvd driver is missing

Hello,
my DVD is not playing any thing again after uninstall a program
what do i do now to get it working back

you can use system restore to set the computer back to before the time that the problem started.
BUT failure of DVD CD is a really common problem, and it's usually an update that makes it fail.
The operating system contains the drivers, but there is no stand alone driver.
Sometime you gotta repair or restore the OS before it will work again.
