my dvd player wont open on my laptop

i need help i just bought a laptop and i cant get the dvd player to open

Maybe it doesn't have a dvd player. What is the make and model?

Try looking to see if there is a small hole near the open button. It should be big enough for a paper clip to poke through. If you see it, use a paper clip and push it through to open it
