Solved! My fire stick was working at first and now when I put TV in hdmi source its saying no signal

My fire stick was working and now when I put my TV on hdmi source its saying no signal like its not recognizing the fire stick

try a different power outlet, preferably a wall outlet rather than a surge protector. also try it on another tv if you have one.

I tried another TV but they both were plugged into surge protectors. I will try it again tonight.

I have a sanyo tv. Not connected to satilite or cable. What do i put the setting on so i can run my firestick
