my Fn and arrow buttons doesnt work litrelly together anymore!!

My problem is that when i hold the Fn key and at the same time controlling the arrow keys i can adjust my brightness but after installing my windows 7 again after the blue screen thing it doesnt seem to work i dont know where the problem is i have used this kinda trick for years but after the windows installation i dont know where the problem has head to
please help me......

Did you go to the laptop vendor support site and install the drivers for your system? Usually the controls are under some function key software but some models may have it hidden under other names.
