My galaxy s3 doesn't charge correctly and keeps turning off

My samsung galaxy s3 was charging when it turned itself off, since it has not turned back on. If I take out the battery and replace while charging, the grey charging battery appears on the screen indicating that it is loading but after a few seconds the phone shuts down again. I've tried multiple guides on how to try and reboot the phone and nothing has worked, I would rather not have to reset the phone but if needs be I will. Please someone help!

Hello mate,
1) Try to charge this Samsung with another adapter / or another cable.
2) Connect the phone into laptop/computer and try to charge it from there ( If the computer charges the phone... you just need a new adapter for charger).
3) Try to clean the charger hole on the phone with needle very gentle!
