My galaxy Y says its charging when its not

My phone says its charging when its not :l donno what to do but its killing my battery... any suggestions?

Try new charger cord and then a new battery. If neither of those fix things, you need to get the jack looked at.

I concur. This was the issue for myself as well. In my case, it turned out to be the jack and put me back about fifty bucks getting it fixed. Still cheaper than a new phone.
