My games are registered under a different account

i changed my profile name and now steam thinks all my old games are on a separate account.

You should talk to Steam about this.

I had the same problem some years ago , i went to reinstall a game i had on a long dead operating system , and had since then created a new account
i tried to install the old game but no good , contact steam as i did and they will fix your problem as they did for me
