Question My HDD doesn't work on my samsung smart tv anymore

My 1TB HDD used to work fine on my tv. A week ago i downloaded some new files but now my tv keeps freezing and shutting itself down.
I tried to copy one file on an other 16GB usb drive but now i'm having the exact same problem.
Am i doing something wrong? Is there a file i can download to solve my problem?
I'm all ears to some solution!

do you mean the tv stop working on the external hdd/flash drive?
