my home reciver just quit playing music but you can hear the music inside the reciver whats the cause

My recover tunes on it got over heated and now I literally only hear the music very quietly coming from inside the receiver what can I do to fix it

It may have internal fuses. Unplug from the AC, remove the top and see if you can spot some fuses. These usually look like glass cylinders with metal caps and a wire that connects the two caps. When blown this wire has a gap or is not there.
You will need to replace is with the same current value (such as 3a) and they come in slow and fast blow. Markings on the caps will have this info on them.
