My "i"key and"r"key will not respond when pressed

My "i" key and "r" key will not respond when pressed on my Alcatel pixi4

Have you tried restarting the phone? (turn it off and back on). Also have you tried cleaning the display? Since these are not actual buttons, those are the most likely causes of the problem.

Should neither work, then I suggest you try updating the keyboard in "Settings".
