My kid set up a password but now doesn't remember.

Hi, sorry for bothering you guys but recently my brother gave my kids a new laptop, Inspiron 11 3000 series. I didn't have time to set it up so when I came home from work I come to found out that my daughter followed the instructions but now doesn't remember the password. I don't think she knew what she was doing, I lecture both for grabbing things without my permission and supervision, even though I now it's theirs. Now I come to you guys how can I access their laptop, I mean if it comes to resetting thats fine I mean it's brand new there's nothing to lose. I appreciate any help.
