My laptop cursor moves by itself and starts rapidly clicking

Today my cursor randomly started moving by itself and will start rapidly clicking. It always moves to the same location near the bottom of my screen. It happens with a USB mouse plugged in and when just using the track pad. I've run AVG antivirus and HitmanPro which turned up nothing. I have an Asus Q200E. Has anyone experienced this before?

Man that's random!

Try a few things:

unplug mouse - does it still do?
plug mouse back in and disable trackpad - does it still do?
different mouse?
different usb port?

I've tried all those thing and none of them have worked. Even when the track pad is disabled it still does it. It's a touch screen laptop so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

UPDATE: I disabled my laptops touchscreen and it seems to have solved the problem. Thanks jazmeister for the help.

No worries. Good trouble shooting mate well diagnosed.
Maybe some thing on screen or a driver conflict.
