My laptop is charging to only 8% and turns off as soon as i remove charger

Please can i just get answe to my questions about my laptop

It appears your battery is used up to where it no longer holds a charge, or faulty if it's a new laptop battery. The 8% being shown may just be a calibration issue, and in fact it's at 0%, indicated by it shutting off immediately when removing the power cable. It can be used without the battery but it will have to remain plugged in at all times, otherwise you need to purchase a new battery for your laptop.
