I’m using Samsung NP535U4X
I have dual OS installed

  • ■Windows 10
    ■Windows 7

I have cleaned the fan, remove all the dust I could find.
But this is what makes me don’t understand

Windows 10 makes my laptop overheat, until it shutdowns itself (around 105°C)
While using Windows 7 the maximum temp is around 89°C

Some of my work programs is installed in W10
What the hell is wrong with it?

Solution
Even 89 is a tad high, depending on what you are doing. Have you tried removing and reapplying all thermal paste? If you don't know how (or don't feel comfortable doing it yourself) then I would suggest taking it to a tech.

89 is under heavy load, such when I open chrome, pdf editor, or 3D software.
usually idle temp around 62 ish.. But yeah, this laptop is so cramped and the air duct is so freakin bad

Haven't reapplied the thermal paste, but regardless
how come W7 maxed at 89 but W10 can reach 105.. I cannot comprehend this.
I even set the w10 max power at 40%

That isn't a heavy load, unless you are loading a lot of things at one time. Each part is different and the advances in tech change everything. Personally I think they have the tech out there to make them able to handle even more, but they shouldn't have to.
