My laptop is saying no disc drive when am trying to watch a dvd

When am trying to watch a dvd on my lap top it's says no disc drive it will load up amd nothing will show or sometimes it's does and be skipping throughout the whole movie

Sounds like your drive may be going bad. You can try reinstalling the drivers for it first and see if that helps. You might also want to try cleaning out the drive to make sure there is nothing causing issues.
