my laptop screen is black and makes a beeping sound when i turn it on. what should i do?

My laptopp screen is black and it makes a weird beeping noise when I turn it on. What should I do?

Check in your owners manual for what the beeping means. Computers usually beep a code when there's an error. Like a repeating 1 long & 3 short.
or post you make and model her along with the beep code you're getting or even a link to a video of it and we'd be glad to try and help.

the same thing is happening to my lap top. i turn it on, lights go on, fan goes on, but screen stays black and it just beeps over and over again. is there any way to fix this?
