Solved! My laptop screen is Screwed up and I need to know the cost!

I am not going to get into too much detail, but I hit my HP laptop and the screen looks broken. When I turn it on, it has what looks like a crack but it still has screen color (which is mostly green if that helps) but a "crack" that is not there. There is no cracks or texture on the exterior of the screen. I would like to know if this would cost more than just another laptop. Thanks!

Sorry, I just checked, not HP actually ,it is a Dell Inspiron 14

be sure to get the exact same LCD model, you will have to disassemble the laptop and have a look at the label on the back of the display, depending on which exact model it is, these videos could help:

If you're not sure how to get the model, look for the service tag or express service code of your laptop at the bottom of the case. Then go to Dell's website to get that information.
