Solved! My laptop WILL NOT turn on at all!! Please help

I was watching Youtube on my Acer laptop when it fell off the edge of my bed and IMIDIATELY turned off.

When i went to go pick it up it would not turn back on, so i tired to plug it in and no lights would show up indicating that its charging. So i decided to leave it plugged in all day while i went to work. Came back home and still nothing. No lights show up whats so ever and it wont turn on either!

I dont see any outside damage or cracking so im wondering what could be the issue? I have EVERY SINGLE PHOTO from my phone on there from the past 3 years and i dont want to lose them. Any suggestions or solutions????? Am i better off just taking it into a repair shop to see if theyd be able to fix it??

Yes, repair shop as it's extremely difficult to diagnose via a forum when the laptop in question is "dead".


Probably some internal damage which you might not be able to find or repair at home anyway. With any luck it might just be something that has been dislodged and just needs re-attaching.

Thats what i was thinking, because there was nothing wrong with it prior to it falling. And when it landed, it landed upright so maybe something came loose or detached?
