My laptop wont let me restore to factory settings through alt f10

Hello,
i have an acer aspire 3690 laptop and i have tried restoring back to factory settings by using the alt f10 and it wont allow me to do this how can i fix the problem and restore i dont have the backup disk

Try pressing the 0 key as it is booting up. Another one may be pressing boththe alt and the 0 key.

Try F8 OR F12 it will give you a menu to select restore system.
