My laptop wont start

Every time I turn on my Toshiba NB15t and press a key they make a short beep and the screen won't turn on, I tried releasing all electricity and it worked for about a day but now I'm stuck with the same problem

Does it show a blinking underscore on the screen?

Try hooking the laptop to an external monitor. That will rule out a motherboard issue.

Are you able to get into recovery mode at all? Keep pressing Shift + F8 after booting and you can restore the laptop to another time or even reset it without losing files.
