Ok, can you access any web pages or is it genuinely not connecting to the internet - windows sometimes mislabels the internet as not working when it is.
It says it limited connection but it's like I wasn't even conected.
So no, I can't connect to any web page.
EDIT: my internet has been like this for a month now, i thought it would come back but it didn't. Right now I'm using my tablet and it's working fine, I even tried disconecting my tablet but it still didn't work.
Alright, go to your network connections in control panel, then change adapter settings. Then can you paste in what you can see in each tab - it may just be a network adapter misconfiguration.
Sorry if it's a weird question, I'm not good in tech stuff
Yes. It is under Network and Sharing centre. Quoting Microsoft "Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type adapter, and then, under Network and Sharing Center, click View network connections."

Open a command prompt (windows key + r and write "cmd" in the box that appears) then type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt"
Then if it works great, if not, post the log file if you can.
If the command prompt says it needs admin privileges run cmd (search in the start bar for cmd) as admin (right click and then click "Run as Administrator")
C:\Users\Admin>netsh int IP reset resetlog.text
