Ok, try connecting using wired as it may just be the WiFi that's having these issues.

Ok, can you access any web pages or is it genuinely not connecting to the internet - windows sometimes mislabels the internet as not working when it is.

It says it limited connection but it's like I wasn't even conected.

So no, I can't connect to any web page.

EDIT: my internet has been like this for a month now, i thought it would come back but it didn't. Right now I'm using my tablet and it's working fine, I even tried disconecting my tablet but it still didn't work.

Ok, can you go to the router settings on 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1? Also can you try and access the internet on another device - is that working?

Alright, go to your network connections in control panel, then change adapter settings. Then can you paste in what you can see in each tab - it may just be a network adapter misconfiguration.

Yes. It is under Network and Sharing centre. Quoting Microsoft "Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type adapter, and then, under Network and Sharing Center, click View network connections."

There are 3:

IPv4 Connectivity: Not Conected
IPv6 Connectivity: Not Connected
Media State: Enabled
Duration: 01:28:58
Speed 100.9 Mbps

IPv4 Connectivity: Not Connected
IPv6 Connectivity. Not connected
Media State: Enabled
SSID: BTHub3-SHJM
Duration: 01:32:19
Speed: 58.0 Mbps

The third on is:
Network cable unplugged
Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

Those 2 times were different because I had to write it down (I'm on my tablet) .
It says not connected but I'm connected but it says limited connection.

Open a command prompt (windows key + r and write "cmd" in the box that appears) then type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt"

Then if it works great, if not, post the log file if you can.

If the command prompt says it needs admin privileges run cmd (search in the start bar for cmd) as admin (right click and then click "Run as Administrator")

Yes. You write that in the command prompt.

Sorry for the really really late reply

I just typed that, now it said
Resetting Global, OK!
Resetting Interface, OK!
Resetting Route, OK!
Restart the computer to complete this action.

So now I restart the computer normally?
Start > little arrow besides shutdown > restart. ???
