My Lenovo tablet keeps rebooting when switching off and restarts Jan 1970 this has happened on numerous occasions. How do you rectify this

If it's fully charged or running on mains electrics, the problem could be a built-in CMOS battery.

If you're able to remove the back panel, can you see a bright shiny circular item. If you can release it and buy a replacement identical to the number on the back, it should be able to remember the date.
