My lenovo laptop keyboard not working because of which I cannot switch it on as it is password protected. Please help

I cannot switch on my laptop because it is password protected and keyboard not working.the letter keys not working only.

Try an external usb keyboard or if the mouse works and it's a windows OS enable to on screen keyboard.
