My Lenovo Z500 Ideapad is very hot.

hey guys .

I have had my Lenovo Z500 Ideapad for about a year now and its been fine up till now,but about a week ago it started to get very very hot i can´t hold my hand next to the fan.

I have run a few tests to see how hot it is and its getting to 80-90 degrees from about a minute after i turn it on then till i turn it off.

Any advice would be great.

dust perhaps? time for fresh thermal paste? how long have you had the laptop? are all the fans running and do they sound normal?

not dust i took the back off and gave it a good clean and there wasn´t really anything there fans sound the same and there all running same speed

you took off the back, did you physically blow out the heat sinks? also how old is this laptop?

well i kind took it off but nothing blow out or broke and about a year old

hmm did anything unusual happen to the laptop right before it started overheating? did it get banged up? perhaps a heat sink is loose?

No I didn't get banged up and I don't think it's loose
