My lg mobile is not starting

Hello,
my lg gs500v is not starting. it only show a screen in which lg is written when i try to start or charge battery. i have tried removing battery.....
pleaase help me

Is there a small reset port on it anywhere, i.e. roughly the size of a pen tip? If so, try sticking a pen tip in there that fits and holding it down for a few seconds to see if that helps.
