Solved! my new laptop shut down instantly. first time it was blue screen then it couldn't power on. tried the remove battery for 30sec

New Toshiba won't boot with no lights or fan spinning.

Sudden shutdown are often runaway thermal shutdowns. The cooling system has failed.
