My OS of laptop is format plese help me to take backup

Hello,

OS of my laptop(hp) has been formated and when i am reinstall windows then the error is came

Error is :- Windows cannot be installed to disk. The selected disk is of GPT partion style.

To convert GPT partion style into MBT partion style i need to farmat complete HDD but the data on my internal HDD is very important.

I want to take backup of that data. Is there is any option to take backup of that data. Plese Help me...

Well purchase a external drive and copy the important files. External drives are cheap now.
