my samsung galaxy s2 wont turn on

hi there i have a samsung galaxy s2 gt-i9100 and it has stopped workin it was working fine in the morning and then it said battrey low so i put it on charge and it turned off and now it stopped v chageing and wen it does charge it freezes flickers and turns off again this has happend twice please help 🙁

Either try a new battery or take it to your service provider to fix. Can you turn it on while it is plugged in to the charger?
