My Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite was set for Melbourne but won't recognise that I'm back in Perth. How do I tell it to change to Perth? It says I'm "not in range" of my home modem!

That said, have you tried turning it off, and then back on? That will usually resolve the issue.

Hi-I'm "old school" so don't understand a lot of this tech talk. Didn't realise I was in the "wrong forum" either. Have turned it on/off several times to no avail. Thanks anyway.

I see. Well if restarting it doesn't help, then you should try going into "Settings" and then locate the "Personal" section and tap "Location". You should be able to change the location. You can also go into "Location requests" to see what apps are requesting your location.

This, of course, is assuming it is just the tablet itself that has a stuck location. If, however, you have a SIM card (not to be confused with an SD card) in the phone, you will need to update that information to get it to change. Usually this is done through "Settings", then "Update" or "System Update" and through either "Update Profile" and/or "Update PRL".
