My Samsung tab 4 is frozen

My Samsung Tab 4 is frozen. After I swiped screen to unlock, It is stuck on that screen.
I pressed the power button to restart, but the power button will not respond.
How can I reset or reboot my tablet?

i had the same problem too but my samsung galaxy tab 4 did not have a home button what should i do then ?

I've had this happen to me over the last month and three exchanges of the Tab S3. It hung again when I turned it on this morning. I just found your solution today. THANK YOU!! I did not want to factory reset again . Does anyone have a clue what is causing this? It seems to be across the Samsung platform. I was suspecting an app I installed previously, but I did not activate it after my last factory reset.

I Did This & It Works
