my samsung tablet wont turn on

I have a Samsung galaxy tablet. I had plugged it into the charger and once it got to 90% I took it off but then it shut down and wont turn back on. I plugged the tablet back in and it just says loading and then clicks off again

Hold the power button for 30-40 second it will come back on..........
