my samsung tablet wont turn on

I have had my son's tablet stored for about a year and just found it. It will not turn on. Have has ot charging for over 12 hours on a cord that I know works. I have held the sound button and the sound and power buttons but nothing works.

Try to charge it with different adapters and computer usb. Do you have a guarantee for this tablet? You may need to use it.
