Nightowl tech support said I must have a bat Ethernet cable, but all of the cables are ran up through the attic, and I'm in a wheelchair. Lol but does the Ethernet cable have to work to even see the camera's on the dvr?

Doesn't look like it have wireless, so yes it need wire.

I just figured that out.
I am technically challenged. I'm pretty stupid when it's common sense to most, and determined (stubborn) enough , that even though I often "trouble shoot" the longest way possible, I end up fixing it. Lol

Thanks. The Ethernet cable started working
