My Sony bravia comes on flashes sony then goes black and the power indicator light stays on green how do I fix this

Hard restart fixed our problem...unplug ALL device power, including tv, modem, and cable box power. "Leave off for at least 60 seconds" according to manual, but we left it off for a couple of hours. Problem solved, but we will need to reprogram the remotes.
