My Sony vaio laptop is plugged in but will not turn on, any help for this????

Remove charger and battery, now press and hold power for 20-30 seconds and next replace battery and reconnect charger and power on normally.

Thank you for the advice. I unscrewed the back but it would not come off. Is there another step to get it off? What does the battery look like? Thank you.

Remove charger only , leave the battery as is, and press and hold power button for 20 seconds, in rare case all LEDs will light up for second or nothing will happen, then plug charger back and power on. This worked with Asus laptop with non-removable battery.

I tryed that without success. I took it to Best buy and they said that it was the motherboard.
