My stereo speakers are working fine on am when I switch to FM I could barely hear them what's wrong

Solution
We could help you better if we knew exactly what equipment you are listening to. Home? Car? AV
If the speakers work on AM then the problem isn't the speakers.
Is there an FM antenna connected? Reposition it. If there is a signal strength meter is there any reading?
The FM tuner can be bad and the AM would still work.

Its my home system Sherwood rx4105, it doesn't have a meter but has an FM stereo tuner indicator that blinks in an out if Im tuned one digit off a station, for instance, if I tune in to 104.3 which is the station number I get nothing, but one digit off the tuner blinks and I get some in and out sound, weird, and yes the antenna is hooked up and I've tried moving it around
