my surround sound has no sound after a loud noise came from the speakers

Lg ARX5000 sound stopped after a loud cracking noise came from the speakers. The dvd player connection is now also dead

If the system is not working even with playing DVDs much less just no sound from the speakers you need to fix or replace it. From the sound of things you don't know enough about those to repair them or you would not be posting this.

Getting someone to repair it will very likely be more costly than replacing it.
