My toshiba laptop gets hot in the right lower corner of the screen

I have a Toshiba laptop that is 2 years old, it gets real hot after five minutes of using it. It is located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. After it starts to get hot within 15 minutes it will begin to turn black in the same area. Then the blacknest begins to spread very slowly. It never gets bigger than a quarter size because it then shuts off, not completely. The screen just fades out. You can tell it's still there because you can briefly see it but it's faint and very dark. What is this and can it be fixed?????

try getting one of those laptop cooling pads. it helps the laptop with better circulation.

Also, show it to a specialist asap before you've harmed the display permanently.
