My toshiba shows that I am connected to the internect but the IE and google chrome are not connecting. Ihave been having this

I am able to connect to the internet and have no issues with the wifi strength. When I use IE or google chrome neither of those browsers are able to display or connect to the internet. I have been having this issue for several months almost a year by now.

solid failure and I have done everything from troubleshoot the issues to deleting old temorary files. I have tried to go past the home page on both browswers as well.

Open a Command Prompt (Program --> Accessories) and issue command: PING GOOGLE.COM, then PING 216.58.194.78, post both results.

Neither of those solutions worked it couldn't find either of those.

PINGing is not solution, it's a diagnostic tool.

If none of those tests were successful then you DON'T HAVE AN INTERNET connection, regardless of where you read otherwise.

No doctor can give you a cure without running some tests and you seem to expect instant answers.

No need shout. And I have full bars and all connections are there. No interrupions between the receiving or. Sending end. So yes I have connections.
