my toshiba wont connect to any wifi. Says no connection available?

My toshiba laptop wont connect to any wifi. It says no connection available? I found a site that says do this, device manager, unistall wireless controller and it should work. Do not have anything that has wireless controller on it. Please help! thank you.

No, there is not. How am I able to get it back? I can't connect to internet so I don't know how to download it, any ideas?

yes, I just did that. Said it was on. Internet box still says no available connections.

Turnn the modem off for a min then turn it back on.

It'll probably cut you off then see if anything works. So if youre here now. How did you get online?

I'm on my husbands laptop that works fine on the wifi. Nothings wrong with wifi, my laptop wont even show any possible connections what so ever.

It maybe dead if it doesnt appear in device manager and if nothing comes up

There's no X bottom right on the taskbar is there? If there is you could right mouse on it and select troubleshoot
