My TV act as Monitor 1

My laptop monitor suddenly turned black.
the problem now is th e TV monitor act as Monitor 1, i go to the screen resolution settings, there is no selections for monitor 1 or 2.

how am i going to get back the destop to display on my laptop's monitor..

i'm using windows 7 ultimate

Hi,

I think your laptop is set as "Projector Only". Press the Windows key + P at the same time and select between Duplicate or Extended display then press Enter on your keyboard.

Duplicate display - is just a copy of your main screen
Extended Display - is like having a long monitor where you have 2 screen that you can use at the same time.

Thnx for your kind respond. My situation here is the setting for the monitor (laptop only) but the real situation is i'm using the comp with the screen on my tv like i set it as Projector Only.

I have tried so many times to use that Wnidows+P, doesn't work at all

Now if i want to use my laptop, i have to turn on my TV to see the Desktop. If i pull out the VGA cable.. still the same (laptop's monitor stay black)

Please... Could somebody Help me..
