My tv comes on and then turns off what can causing this

When i first turn on my tv the green light blinks mutiple time then i turn it on and it dose nothing then i hear it come on and it turns off!

Green light being simply a "power on or off indicator"? Check the TV's User/Guide and manual - make sure that there is no meaning with respect to the flashes: either by number and/or length.

Check for loose plugs/power connections. Try a different power cable.

Remove any extra interim connections: e.g., power bars, surge protectors, etc.

Maybe there is a loose connection in the wall outlet. Move the TV somewhere else if you can to test that possibility. Or use an extension cable.

Otherwise I would expect a loose connection inside the TV or some component overheating.
