My up laptop won't type to let me sign in,HELP!!!!!

I had my laptop in storage because I moved to different location so now I try to get on and laptop won't let me sign in.please can any body HELP?I have a hp touch screen ,on the back of the battery is hewlett-packard,and Intel Pentium inside.
