Question mysterious snow

I need help with an oddball phenomenon. I have a Samsung KS800 TV, which I use exclusively as a computer monitor, through its HDMI port. Occasionally, the picture turns to snow. I can always cure this by restarting the computer, but not by restarting the TV. However, I have had the same problem with three different PCs, so I can't see how the problem could be coming from that end. Anybody have thoughts on what's happening? Thanks!

Between those 3 PC's did you ever change the HDMI cable?
