NAD 7250PE Station memory problem

If station memory on the NAD 7250PE be battery based, then where is it?

I've a PE7155 which is similar and I don't recall seeing a battery. My guess is the memory is backed by a capacitor which holds the charge long enough for setting not to be lost in normal use (like being unplugged from the wall while hoovering etc).

Possible this cap is dying so you are losing memory settings.
