That is bloody awesome!
The body needs more work to look realistic, but keep the head. The head is pretty damned cool.
Also needs legs. Sure, a robot may not need legs, but it makes us one step closer to a full walking, talking, working prototype.
I remember in 1999 a scientist was saying that we would have AI on the level of humans by 2010. Too bad he was wrong.
In the field of technology, hardware has been steadily advancing, but I'm dissappointed to see software hasn't caught up.
I want a fully intelligent AI that I can have full conversations with. One I would run with. One I can work with. Eventually, a machine that advances and upgrades itself. Evolution. As a sentient species, our goals are to survive and evolve. If we can create a creature (even if machine) that can do just that, then I believe that we have succeeded.
