Anyway they still got time, they didnt even ended its legs! it would look nice if they gave it the same that R2D2 has.

That is bloody awesome!
The body needs more work to look realistic, but keep the head. The head is pretty damned cool.

Also needs legs. Sure, a robot may not need legs, but it makes us one step closer to a full walking, talking, working prototype.

I remember in 1999 a scientist was saying that we would have AI on the level of humans by 2010. Too bad he was wrong.
In the field of technology, hardware has been steadily advancing, but I'm dissappointed to see software hasn't caught up.

I want a fully intelligent AI that I can have full conversations with. One I would run with. One I can work with. Eventually, a machine that advances and upgrades itself. Evolution. As a sentient species, our goals are to survive and evolve. If we can create a creature (even if machine) that can do just that, then I believe that we have succeeded.

I love the world of technology.

Two companies owned by the tax-payers; both pretty much in the toilet are teaming up to create a space robot? Ok, so even if this has been in the works for a decade, these are the projects which should be put on hold given that it's totally wasteful. NASA and GM should be teaming up to create a AA sized battery which could propel a car for 500KM before needing a recharge, instead of wasting time, money and resources on a robot which will never see a day in space because Virgin won't be buying, the Chinese will be building their own and the Russians already have the best and cheapest robot at their disposal called a human cosmonaut.

Yeah, you missed something. They have robots to assemble, weld, paint, and everything but sell the cars.

I think the reason that NASA went with GM is because GM took a big loan from the gov. and now has to bend over when needed, but this is a good thing for GM, they need the money. JMO
