1. What is your budget?

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Normal screen size.

3. What screen resolution do you want?
My pc is at 1366x768, so anything around it. Doesnt matter much,, just be a widescreen.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
N/A

5. How much battery life do you need?
Will be mostly used at home. Doesnt matter much.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Mainly Starcraft 2, I play at extreme low settings right now, cant have a big battle lol. So around medium.
New Swtor game at any setting. Not out yet.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Internet mostly, streaming movies. I use chrome so if that matter.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
I am going to install quite a few games, say around 150ish.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Doesnt Matter

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
About 1-2 years.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Doesnt Matter, wont really use it at any point.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Anything but compaq.

13. What country do you live in?
NJ. USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

Also how is the XPS m1530 for current gen gaming, just curious because I might trade that with my neighbor. He doesnt know much about PC's.
 
Upgrading the Compaq Presario is going to be less expensive if you don't need a copy of Windows 7. And you'll get a video card that's quite a bit better than the HD 5450.

Probably best if you go ask that question over in the section of the forum that does PC upgrades and new PC builds. Systems Forum
Look around there for a bit and see what other people are talking about.

You'll get some ideas on how to ask your own questions. Something like: $300 upgrade or $400 new build?
Give them the link to your current PC & monitor, plus the $400 CyberPower PC and let them suggest different options for you to think about.
